Course format

Avance Real's online courses typically follow a lesson-based structure, and in most cases, each lesson comprises the following three sections:

  • Each lesson starts with a video that introduces the chapter topic and demonstrates its practical application. At the end, the key points of the lesson are summarized.

  • The second section comprises a textual lesson guide accompanied by images.

  • The lesson concludes with a quiz consisting of 3 or 4 questions that pertain to the topics covered in the lesson.

Tips to enhance learning through online courses.

Section 1: Video

The first section, presented in video format, provides an in-depth explanation of the lesson content. It starts with an introduction, followed by a practical demonstration of the exercise, and concludes with a brief summary of the main points covered in the lesson.

Here are some suggestions:

- Begin by watching the video and paying close attention to the lesson topics. Make sure to watch it in its entirety.

- Avoid the temptation to become distracted by your mobile device or any other distractions after hitting the play button.

- Keep a notebook handy and have the program open on your computer to carry out the exercise.

- Once the video is finished, restart it and pause as many times as needed to take notes. Ensure that you write down all relevant information that may prove valuable in the future.

- Follow along with the exercise on your computer as demonstrated in the video.

- Jot down any useful tips or steps that may not be immediately apparent.

- After completing the exercise on your computer and feeling confident in your understanding, take note of the highlights presented at the end of the video.

Tip: Avoid multitasking or skipping ahead in an effort to save time. Optimize your utilization of both, the time and money that you have invested to maximize your returns.

Section 2: Text guide

The lesson's second section is a text guide that contains the same content as the video. It serves as an additional resource in case the videos are not accessible on your computer, and plays an essential role in the course's teaching and learning process.

We recommend that you:

- Read the text guide to confirm that you have accurately comprehended the lesson objectives presented in the video.

- If you have any uncertainties, return to the video and review the steps or procedures, then redo the exercise.

- Review your notes and add more if required.

Tip: Follow the guide as instructed. This approach is intended to reinforce and solidify understanding in the teaching and learning process. Remember that your self-discipline and concentration are vital to achieving success in the course and your professional experience.

Section 3: Quiz

The final section of the lesson comprises a quiz with a limited number of questions, and answering all of them correctly is essential for moving forward in the course.

We recommend the following steps:

- Attempt all the quiz questions.

- In case of any confusion, consult your notes.

- If you cannot find the answer in your notes, refer to the text guide and update your notes accordingly.

- Redo the exercise if needed.

Tip: While the partial score is a measure of the student's progress percentage, its primary purpose is to reinforce the essential points of the lesson before moving on to the next chapter.

The ultimate goal is not simply finishing the course, but rather acquiring knowledge and learning.
